As it turns out, preserving flowers is harder than it seems. I really need to give this another serious shot sometime. A project where I pre-treat the flower correctly before casting.

I plucked a flower and let it dry-out by my window.
Guess who needs to learn how to pour? This guy.
Very nice. Really helps give that old dresser some character.
Much like Britney Spears, I did it again.
I used packing tape with a hole cut-out to help keep the 2-piece mold shut.
The final product. Pretty cool when lit-up.

Another rose test. I really should've invested time in learning to pre-treat objects back then.
And to make things worse, I ruined the doming. Anyone want a free paperweight?

A test to practice casting flowers. I didn't know about pre-heating resin back in the day, hence all of those ugly bubbles.
To make matters worse, the resin wasn't completely hard. It had the consistency of rubber.
